Arsenal vs. Man Utd

I am an Arsenal supporter and when I heard that Arsenal had lost 8-2 to Man Utd. I felt like crying! lol, What happened? It makes me wonder do we need a new manager? or a few new players?

Whatever it is we need we definitely need something and fast!! Let me know what you think!

Sexuality

Why do people always feel the need to categorize everything? People are either; Straight, Bisexual or Gay! What if someone doesn't fit in to any of these categories are they a freak? or not human? NO it just means they don't confine they feelings in to a specific box! Is that wrong?

What ever we do no matter what it is there is categories and specifications and limits? Are we indoctrinated in to labelling everything? or do we just believe that if there is not type of structure it makes our lives messy? Let me know what you think!

Sex and the City

Sex and the City the character's lives in the film are to die for! If I could live in beautiful apartments in Manhattan and have loads of designer clothes, handbags and shoes I would be in heaven!!! Plus I wouldn't mind all the sex either ;)

The one thing I do hope to have as I get older is a few friends that I know will be there for me no matter what, all the time! Friendship & loyalty are well understated in today's society and although the handbags, shoes and clothes would be absolutely amazing if I had the choice I would pick to have 3 loyal and reliable friends!!! But I guess I will have to wait and see whether I get to have that one thing that I want in life ... As someone once told me: "Life is too unpredictable to bother sitting around waiting & trying to predict just live your life and hope for the best!" Amen to that!!

Change

Change to me is a scary word ... you never quite know what you are going to get with change! It could be good or bad, easy or difficult.

But should we be scared of change? or should we embrace it? There are some changes that are scary but at the same time compulsory to move on to the next stage of life. Take going to secondary school for example, I was petrified to go to a new school and meet a whole load of new people but it was compulsory so I went  and it ended up being the best five years of my life!!

So should we embrace change and apply the philosophy that we only live once and to embrace everything life throws? Or is sometimes being scared of change a warning? Go for it and deal with it if you fall? Or avoid falling in the first place? Let me know what you think!

Anne Hathaway's Accent

Anne Hathaway has been slated for a accent in her new film one day. Her character in the film is suppose to be from Yorkshire now I have't seen the film but does this prove there should be more openings for people with different accents in the film industry? Or should the film industry be more strict on how good the accent needs to be before the actor/actress starts their character in the film? Let me know what you think!

The Dreaded Personal Statement

I don't know what it is about the personal statement bit of the C.V. but there is so much emphasis put on it "if you don't get the personal statement right then your c.v. could just be chucked in the bin!" I use to say doing a personal statement can't be that hard, oh how wrong I could be!!

Yesterday I sat in my living room staring at my laptop screen the whole c.v. completed but one section the personal statement. You see in films where they start a sentence and then delete it, or scrunch up the paper .. yep that was me for a good hour and a half restarting sentences and staring at a blank screen thinking what to write. In the end I closed it down saved what I had done and vowed to come back to it tomorrow.

But what is it about the personal statement that lots of people struggle with is it how to word it? is it that people don't like boasting or bragging?  Let me know what you think!

Best Friends

Best friends we all have one if we are lucky we have a few, but what does it take to be a best friend? Is it sharing the same interests? Having the same humour? Or could it just be being around someone so much that you start to just get use to them being around?

Its strange because you can not ever really say what makes a best friend because every relationship is different, is this the same for every category of human relations? Can we ever fully categorise anything? Can we ever know for certain that someone is definitely your best friend/a good boyfriend or do we need something to happen for proof that they are what we thought? Let me know what you think!

GCSE Results! Expectations Too High?

I don't know if anyone else had this problem but I aimed for quite high results in my GCSEs and I walked up to my school (which was the longest walk of my life) and picked up that white envelope to find I may of had too high an expectation of myself! Don't get me wrong I passed everything and passed quite high but is there ever such a thing as expecting too much from yourself? And if you do expect a lot from yourself are you as some people say a perfectionist? Let me know what you think :)

Can Men & Women Really Be Just Friends?

I am always being told that men and women can not really be friends, and that the boy always ends up wanting more then just friends! But can this really be true? I mean I have male friends and I genuinely can not believe that ALL of them want more then to be just friends! But contrary to what I believe it is a major thing in the male and female communities that men and women just cannot be friends. Can we really be that different? What do you think please leave a comment would love to hear what YOU think. :)
